Featured Project: Hunts Point Water Treatment Plant

The Hunts Point Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) has been assigned to the Territory of Greenbee founder, Rob Licopoli.  Hunts Point is one of the largest of New York City’s 14 water pollution control plants. The plant treats wastewater from a 16,000-acre area located in the northeast part of the Bronx. The Hunts Point WWTP has been operating since 1952 and has a design dry weather flow capacity of 200 million gallons per day (mgd), and a peak wet weather capacity of 400 mgd.

Licopoli Hired by AON

Greenbee Founder and President, Rob Licopoli, has been hired by AON Corporation as a Regional Manager for the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in New York City.

Licopoli curretly oversees Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) for more than $5 billion capital projects.

Featured Project: Croton Water Filtration Plant

Greenbee founder, Rob Licopoli, oversees the construction EHS for the Croton Water Filtration Plant site in New York City.  Excavation of the two treated water tunnels has been completed and installation of piping in these tunnels continues. Placement of concrete for lining the raw water tunnel has been completed. Concrete placement, installation of mechanical, electrical, heating and ventilating, and plumbing work continues to advance.

Featured Project: North River

Greenbee Founder, Rob Licopoli, currently overseesThe Environmental, Safety and Health management team for the construction projects at the North  River water treatment plant. 

The plant is located on the Hudson River and  provides water treatment for the hundreds of thousands of people who live and work in or visit the west side of Manhattan, from Bank Street in Greenwich Village to Inwood Hill at the island’s northern tip. North River treats about 125 million gallons of wastewater every day during dry weather, and it is designed to handle up to 340 million gallons a day when the weather is wet.
